The paper spun through the air, only to be caught by an invisible force. It then unfolded smoothly and hovered before Dawn's eyes.

A black-and-white photograph occupied most of the page. It showed Dawn himself, apparently taken in secret during one of his appearances at the harbor, from an awkward angle.
