At the edge of the training ground, the spectators had varying reactions.
"I really don't understand why those two had to fight this way. Aren't they afraid something might go wrong?"
Kalifa adjusted her glasses and muttered softly, her tone filled with confusion. In her eyes, this was both inefficient and foolish.
Stussy chuckled in agreement.
"Giving up his own advantage on purpose—Dawn really is all muscle and no brains."
Robin hugged her book and watched the two men brawling like street thugs in the middle of the field before quietly concluding,
"Perhaps... in their eyes, this is how a battle between men should be fought."
Kaku did not join the older sisters' discussion. He tilted his head up and stared unblinkingly at the two figures in the field. Under that terrifying Gravity Field, they could barely use even the most basic techniques and had to exert every ounce of strength just to throw a punch. His little face was filled with shock and disbelief.
He had personally witnessed Dawn and Lucci's true level of skill. The scene before him made him feel even more directly just how terrifying that invisible Gravity Field was.
Driven by a child's uncontrollable curiosity, Kaku quietly stepped closer and closer to the area where even the light seemed distorted, wanting to experience it from a nearer distance.
"Idiot! Don't go over there!"
Stella hurriedly shouted from nearby.
But Kaku paid her no heed. One tiny foot stepped into the edge of the Gravity Field.
"Cough!"
The instant he entered, Kaku felt as though a mountain had come crashing down onto his young body.
He could not even cry out before he was slammed flat against the ground, limbs sprawled. A sweetness rose in his chest, and he coughed up a small mouthful of blood.
