After five days of sailing, David's Revenge successfully arrived at Mock Town from Alabasta. Then, using its ability to fly, it reached this legendary Sky Island.

The reason the journey had taken so long was mainly because Dawn had deliberately allowed the Flying Pirates to confirm their coordinates. Otherwise, at David's Revenge's speed, it would not have taken nearly this long.

As soon as they arrived at Upper Yard, the protagonist offered the nearby residents of Angel Island and the Shandians a large amount of Bass afterward, on the condition that they temporarily relocated to other Sky Islands.

After personally witnessing Dawn's miraculous gravity-control ability, the residents of God's Country were filled with reverence for him. Without the slightest doubt, they accepted the proposal and cooperatively packed their belongings before leaving.

After clearing out a sufficiently vast battlefield, Dawn took Enel and Nami away from the main group for the time being and headed above the higher cloud layers, preparing a "surprise" for the approaching Flying Pirates.

On the fourth day after arriving at Upper Yard, the sky was blue and the breeze gentle.

Having long learned of the enemy's movements through Violet's ability, none of them showed the slightest fear. Instead, they appeared utterly calm, completely lacking the tension and urgency one should have before battling the legendary great pirate Golden Lion and his pirate crew.
