Dawn looked down at Pekoms, whom he held in his hand, his tone calm yet unquestionable. He had not saved him out of kindness, but because he needed to go to Zou.
Of the four Red Road Poneglyphs, one was in Kaido's hands, and he had already made a rubbing of its contents in advance; one was in Charlotte Linlin's hands; one was held by the mysterious Man Marked by Flames; and the last one was on Zou.
Dawn was not collecting the Red Stones to go to Laugh Tale. He merely wanted to see whether becoming the Pirate King could strengthen his Conqueror's Haki.
He did not care about the Void Century. In the end, he would most likely have to fight Imu anyway. Since that was the case, it made no difference whether he went to Laugh Tale or not.
