Kakashi sheathed his sword and slowly adjusted his breathing.

"Your strength is greater than I expected."

He had thought that after a year of grueling training, even if he could not defeat Minato Namikaze, he could at least force him to take the fight seriously.

Yet from beginning to end, Minato Namikaze had never truly made a move.

The gap left him unwilling to accept it, but it also made him completely put away his contempt.

Obito finally found an opening.

Just as he was about to charge out again, several special kunai flew from Minato Namikaze's hand in different directions.

The kunai passed over the three of them, embedding themselves in the ground and tree trunks.

Obito froze for a moment.

"Did he throw them wrong?"

Kakashi's expression changed instantly.

Flying Thunder God Formulas were carved into every kunai handle.

"Obito, get out of the way!"

Golden light flashed past.

Minato Namikaze appeared out of thin air behind Obito.

With two fingers together, he accurately struck the back of his neck.

Obito's body stiffened, and he lost consciousness on the spot.

Rin had only just turned around when Minato Namikaze used another kunai to move to her side.

His palm came down.

She could not even activate the Body Flicker Technique before collapsing limply to the ground.

Kakashi forcibly drew his sword.

Golden light flashed again.

Minato Namikaze appeared in his blind spot, his fingertips striking his neck with precision.

The longsword was only halfway out of its sheath.

Kakashi's vision went dark, and his body fell forward.

In the blink of an eye, all three had lost consciousness.

Minato Namikaze caught Kakashi and placed him on the ground.

He checked the condition of the three again and confirmed that they had only been temporarily
