The veins at Sasuke's temple throbbed twice, and his hands itched to do something.
He quickly changed the subject, ignoring Obito as he looked down at Sarada.
"By the way, is your mom home?"
Sarada nodded hard. Just as she was about to call out, hurried footsteps came from the kitchen.
Hearing Sasuke's voice, Sakura set the spatula by the pan, casually wiped her hands on her apron, and rushed out.
When she saw the tall figure outside, she stared at him for a moment before her eyes reddened.
Still wearing her apron, she rushed forward in a few steps and threw her arms around Sasuke.
Sasuke's shoulders tensed. He had just raised his hand to return the embrace when he caught sight of several pairs of bright eyes outside the door.
Normally, he probably would have simply embraced her back.
But Minato, Kushina, Kakashi, and the rest of the older generation were all watching from the doorway.
Especially Obito, who drawled out a particularly punchable remark.

Sasuke's face instantly turned red to the tips of his ears, and he stood there like a wooden post.
Fortunately, Sakura noticed the commotion and let go after only a brief hug.
She stepped back half a pace, her tone carrying a hint of coy reproach.
"You idiot, you finally remembered to come home. Dinner's almost ready."
Sasuke quietly breathed a sigh of relief and nodded, his gaze passing over her toward the kitchen.
"Thanks for the effort, Sakura, but you might need to prepare a few more sets of bowls and chopsticks."
Only then did Sakura clearly see the large group behind Sasuke.
She looked at Obito first. Her steps slowed, and a sense of familiarity gradually surfaced in her heart.
