Ji Yuan questioned the dangerous plan but agreed he could help if Ran Kui lured away the nearby enemies, leaving their group to face the Demon Prison guards.

• Ji Yuan traveled with Ran Kui to meet Qinghe, Su Huaimin, and Shiyan, disguising himself as the Peak Foundation Establishment rogue cultivator Li Changshou.
• The group prepared for the assault, and Ran Kui shattered the Formation disk that detonated the Spirit Vein and drew the nearby Golden Core Demonic Cultivators north.

As Shiyan faced death outside, a young man in green robes appeared and introduced himself as Li Changshou of the Water Dragon Sect.
