Nameless came to his senses and couldn't help calling out softly.
Marnie then snapped out of it and asked in confusion, "Huh? What's wrong? I think I fell asleep."
"Where did you hear what you just said?" Su Jingyao asked softly as she held Marnie.
Marnie looked puzzled and asked back, "Sister Yao, what did I just say? Didn't I fall asleep? Ah, I know, did I talk in my sleep after I fell asleep?"
"No. Keep eating!" Su Jingyao said with a smile, shaking her head.
Nameless and the others fell silent for a moment before Zhang Shouzhong said, "Children speak without thinking. Let's talk about something else."
"Right, right, let's talk about something else!" Tianxing Mingyue agreed.
Although he really wanted to ask Nameless about Marnie's background, this was clearly not the time.
At first, he had thought Marnie was Nameless's daughter. Later, after hearing Marnie call Su Jingyao sister, he thought Marnie was Su Jingyao's younger sister.
