Inside the pyramid, Nameless stared at the shield-faced, armored Beast of Original Sin, a troubled look on his face.
He had already guessed its origins. If he was right, this Beast of Original Sin had evolved from the Reflective Metal Shield.
In fact, although the Reflective Metal Shield had evolved into a Beast of Original Sin, it posed very little danger.
The reason was simple: the emotion it absorbed was laziness. Unlike Beasts of Original Sin that absorbed Killing Intent Power, anger, or the desire for control, the Reflective Metal Shield had absorbed so much laziness that it was hardly dangerous at all.
It was too lazy to move!
Nameless did not know who had brought it out of its sealed room, but apart from blocking that first attack, it had not moved once. Even when he walked right up to it, it stayed perfectly still, like a statue.
Still, it was a nuisance.
