Although these demons were only cannon fodder Abimiki had casually tossed into the fray, their numbers were staggering. At first, only a few hundred thousand charged in, but as space folded, their numbers exploded.
Millions, tens of millions, hundreds of millions...
Countless demons flew in without fear of death. Some died to invisible threads, others to Chen Yidao's blade energy. In moments, the universe became a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood. Demon bodies floated through space, their broken remains colliding, sticky blood binding them into enormous heaps.
"Too much trash!"
Nameless frowned. An Imaginary Flower appeared instantly, and he poured Frog Force into it. A huge mouth opened at the flower's center.
The flower hovered at one side of space and began devouring the demons' corpses.
There were many kinds of demons. Most were intelligent and cunning when calm. The trouble was that once battle began, they easily got hotheaded and turned into fools who could no longer think.
Some demons, however, remained exceptionally calm. Abimiki had tossed them into the fray, but they did not rush to attack Nameless. Instead, they waited for the corpses to pile up. With enough of them, they could use the bodies to cast all manner of magic and grievously wound a target far above their own level.
When they saw the Imaginary Flower rapidly devouring the corpses, they could no longer sit still.
Several demons flew over from a shattered planet in the distance. Before they could strike, the Imaginary Flower shot out a tongue that stuck to them and dragged them into its mouth in the blink of an eye.
Chen Yidao and several other demons saw this and immediately grew wary of the Imaginary Flower.
By all rights, those demons should have been able to put up some
