When Nameless entered the contestants' lounge, Lin Renmei called out to him with a teasing smile.
Nameless immediately covered his face with both hands and leaned into Lin Renmei's arms. "I regret it so much. So much..."

Just then, the Beast Taming King Tournament began assigning opponents.
There were so many contestants that the tournament was still in the elimination round.
Contestants were rapidly matched at random, then sent into different Arena Universes to compete.
Nameless was a seeded contestant and did not need to take part in the elimination round. Before long, he was the only one left in the lounge.
He sat in a chair and scanned the Bubble Worlds floating around the arena, looking for contestants worth watching.
Bobo was powerful as a Mythic Grade pet, but that did not mean the other contestants had no chance of winning. With the right training, an Immortal Beast Grade pet could be astonishingly strong too.
Wen Yifang's Seven-Kill Gu Worm was a perfect example. His pet beast should originally have been Transcendent Tier, but after he trained it into the Seven-Kill Gu Worm, it had naturally advanced to Mighty Grade.
It was a transformation in the very level of its life.
If Wen Yifang could do it, other contestants could too. Nameless could not afford to let down his guard.
Meanwhile, Lin Renmei, Lucifer, and Maria began their own matches.
None of them thought their pets could beat Nameless's Bobo, and apart from Mamakini, the prizes held little appeal for them.
But since they had entered, they would still give it their all and do their best.
