"Does the Catfish King know what's happening on Pond Sphere?"
Nameless set down the intelligence file and looked up at Aries Palace. "Does he know?" he asked gravely.
"He should. Pond Sphere is under his rule. There's no reason he wouldn't know if anything stirred there," Aries Palace replied after a moment's thought.
Nameless frowned. "Then why hasn't he reacted? The Myriad-Tentacled Monster has been on Pond Sphere for a full day."
"Hard to say. Perhaps he wants to handle it himself, or perhaps... he simply doesn't care." Aries Palace shook his head.
"Have the Secretariat Group investigate," Nameless said coolly. "If he's enjoyed the power without fulfilling his duties, have the Qin Family lower its assessment of the Catfish Clan."
"Yes. I'll instruct the Secretariat Group to investigate," Aries Palace said with a nod.
Nameless picked up the documents Aries Palace had just explained to him and scanned them. "The Myriad-Tentacled Monster is bound to cause trouble on Pond Sphere. Who do you think we should send?" he asked, already feeling a headache coming on.
"There are two candidates, but I'm afraid you're the only one who could persuade them," Aries Palace said hesitantly.
Nameless put down the documents. He immediately guessed whom Aries Palace meant and sighed helplessly. "They aren't members of the All-Heavens Council. Even though we're very close, I can't ask them to contribute for nothing."
"Then ask what they want," Aries Palace said.
"No. That would look suspicious, and if anyone called it into question later, we'd never be able to explain it clearly." Nameless shook his head.
