Charge into the Training Grounds

As time passed, more and more spirits changed from black to white.

The spirits surrounding Zhang Ping all changed from twisted, despairing, resentful, and pained to peaceful, tranquil, grateful, and joyful.

The sight was too shocking.

Everyone present fell silent of their own accord, witnessing the miraculous scene before them.

At last, the final black undead spirit entered the Sanctified World through the Purifying Realm Gem. Then it emerged from the white radiance as well, gathering beside all the other spirits as they waited for Zhang Ping to awaken.

Zhang Ping had not actually fainted. He was merely immersed in the lingering aftermath of pain.

About half an hour later, he slowly opened his eyes. When he saw Su Jingyao beside him, his expression changed as though he were performing a magic trick. First came surprise, then delight, followed by disbelief, and finally a desperate attempt to believe.

He immediately got up and tried to embrace Su Jingyao, but his body passed right through hers and he hugged empty air. The smile on his face instantly froze.

Then he felt an invisible force push him away. Only after sitting upright did he realize that he was surrounded by countless white spirit bodies.

First came surprise and bewilderment, followed by understanding and realization. He could not help but smile.

At that moment, Su Jingyao smiled softly at him and gently tapped his forehead. In an instant, she entered the Sanctified World through the Purifying Realm Gem. Then all the spirits gave him slight bows. Some even kissed his cheek or waved at him before they all returned to the Sanctified World through the white light on the ground.
