Smack!
Smack, smack, smack, smack!
All sorts of things fell from the sky and slammed heavily into the ground.
A little bird clutched its wings and wailed, "My bones are broken! I can't fly! My bird life is over!"
Then a pig wearing striped boxer shorts dropped from the sky and landed squarely on the bird. The pig's hunched back snapped straight, its eyes bulging wide. Something had... gone in!
Nameless and Wang Zong descended next. Both braced themselves against the ground with one hand and kicked at each other. Sole met sole, and the opposing force sent them flipping backward. They planted their other feet on the ground and opened a gap between them in an instant.
Nameless looked at Wang Zong's hands. He held four wands. Nameless glanced at the wands in his own hands. He had four as well.
Unfortunately, neither of them had gained the upper hand this time.
The will to fight gradually ebbed from both of them. If they kept going, neither would win, and they no longer had any reason to fight.
"We're back! Hooray! The queens are all dead! We're free!"
A dog woke and began shouting with joy. Many of the other animals noticed that the castle had lost its former rainbow glow and that the flowers and grass around it were withering. Far from feeling sad, they all cheered.
"Ding-dong! The Endless Voyage will leave Bad Queen Island in thirty minutes! The Endless Voyage will leave Bad Queen Island in thirty minutes!"
The Endless Voyage's announcement rang out in the distance.
Nameless and Wang Zong both realized this was no time to fight. They dropped their fighting stances and rushed toward the castle, which was already growing shabby.
Perhaps because the queens' magic no longer sustained it, the castle was
