The Bird King swept a wing toward Lucifer. Dense wind blades appeared in an instant, then fused at tremendous speed into a single enormous blade thirty meters long and one meter wide.
Lucifer was not foolish enough to take it head-on. Flames immediately engulfed her, and by the time the wind blade struck them, she was nowhere to be seen.
That left Lin Renmei as the only target. The Bird King immediately unleashed a furious barrage at her, forcing her to pull out every trick she had to evade its attacks. She was in grave danger.
"Your wife's in trouble. Aren't you going to help?" Aries Palace asked Nameless.
Nameless smiled. "Don't underestimate Renmei. She's far from weak."
Still, it was time to act.
Imaginary Flowers had been circling Nameless all along. He glanced at one beside him and willed another at the far end to swell and change shape, becoming a pink arm.
The pink arm grew steadily more solid, gradually giving off a dangerous pulse, as though countless stars had been stuffed into a glass marble that might explode at any moment.
Nameless fixed his gaze on the Bird King below and narrowed his eyes. The pink arm shot toward it like a beam of pink light.
The Bird King's attention was wholly on Lin Renmei. In this form, its true body was also hidden amid countless
