Zhang Shouzhong plunged straight into the water. Reeds, alders, and saltwort surrounded him.

"Help... I can't... glug... I can't swim!" Cheng Xuejie fell into the water and swallowed several mouthfuls of filthy water.

Liu Sishan used Pure Water to lift Cheng Xuejie up. "Everyone, look around for dry land."

"All I can see are reeds. Where's the dry land?" Zhang Shouzhong looked from side to side, unable to keep from complaining.

"Be careful," Bai De said grimly. "There's something in the water!"

"Snakes?" Zhang Shouzhong cried in fear.

Zhang Ping pulled out Big One's Storage Contract and hurled it high into the distance. Just as the contract was about to fall, he released Big One from it.

Most snakes could swim, and Big One was no exception.

At Zhang Ping's command, Big One swam over and lifted everyone onto his back. Then he floated quietly on the surface like a dragon boat.

"Phew, that scared me to death. What's in the water?" Zhang Shouzhong asked with a sigh of relief.

Bai De flicked a leech off his leg, bursting it. He frowned at the wound, which would not stop bleeding. "Leeches, I think. Lots of them. Check yourselves carefully."

"I've got one on my neck!" Cheng Xuejie said.

Zhang Shouzhong found several clinging to him too. "These leeches are disgusting. They aren't Mutated Beasts, are they?"

"No. They're probably ordinary leeches that have mutated," Zhang Ping said, killing one attached to his arm.

Once everyone had removed the leeches, Zhang Ping transformed his arm into King-Blood Form and stopped their bleeding.

After treating them, Zhang Ping surveyed the area. "Mr. Situ, what's the task in the Venomous Marsh?"

Situ Shibai smiled. "Haven't you noticed?
