Aries Palace watched Nameless unleash a dizzying series of attacks and defenses. He had to admit that Nameless was getting better and better at combining his abilities.
Though Nameless had used only five abilities against the three statues, those five had kept the statues from joining forces. The rhythm of the battle had remained firmly in his hands.
Aries Palace had plenty of abilities himself, but after thinking it over, he realized he would have a hard time beating Nameless now.
"Nameless's fighting style is growing more polished. It's almost impossible to find a way to counter him perfectly," Aries Palace said with a sigh.
Lucifer nodded. "That's true."
By then, Nameless had secretly taken control of the First Archer with a second Nameless Name. He gave no sign of it, though, letting the First Archer pretend to attack him and create openings for the other statues.
The First Warrior and First Fighter had no idea there was a traitor among them. The First Fighter had first been punched through the chest by the First Warrior, then shot through the head by the First Archer. Yet he stubbornly survived. Stone fell away from his body, revealing a face full of murderous intent. If not for the rather large hole in his head, that face could have frightened plenty of people to tears.
He growled, transformed his hands into blades, and charged at Nameless, cutting through everything like melons and vegetables. The Imaginary Flowers and Titan's Hands in his path were all sliced apart.
