It could evolve from a Raw Wood Heart into a Black Iron Heart, a Silver Heart, a Gold Heart, and then a Crystal Heart.
From there, the Crystal Heart could evolve into a Diamond Heart, then a Pink Diamond Heart, until it finally reached a Colored Diamond Heart.
Once a doll's Doll's Heart reached the Colored Diamond level, the doll was essentially a new Wondrous Item. Its abilities were no weaker than an object made by a Transcender or a rule one had established.
The moment Nameless saw the Doll's Heart, he knew what the Beast of Original Sin hidden in the Eternal Silence Space was.
Notably, dolls with a Doll's Heart usually obeyed only the person who held the Doll Saint Mother. Even if Nameless put the Doll's Heart in his hand into another doll, he still would not be able to control it.
But a Doll's Heart had another use besides creating dolls: it could be ground into powder and drunk with water. Doing so would grant the drinker all of that doll's abilities.
If Faceless really had copied all of Nameless's abilities perfectly, then the Doll's Heart in Nameless's hand could create another powerhouse with abilities identical to his own.
Of course, Nameless did not believe Faceless could perfectly copy every ability he possessed.
