The patterns on these stone pillars were rather distinctive as well.
Nameless recognized the writing of this world, but these patterns were completely different from Saimoro script. They resembled Ancient Egyptian writing more closely.
This suggested that the pyramid-like structure before him might have existed since ancient times, or perhaps belonged to a civilization completely different from that of the Beast Tamer Continent.
After giving it some thought, Nameless decided to uncover the pyramid and take a look.
In his eyes, magical beasts were merely somewhat stronger supernatural creatures. So much time had passed that the creature might well have starved to death long ago.
By uncovering the pyramid-like structure, he might find the magical beast's remains.
Even if it really was not dead, Nameless could flee if he could not defeat it. After all, the hero in the patterns had escaped on two legs alone. There was no reason he and the Vampire Jellyfish, who could fly, would fail to get away.
No sooner said than done. With a thought from Nameless, the Vampire Jellyfish immediately used Psychokinesis to fling away the massive stone at the very top. Then, one stone after another was sent flying, and soon only the bottommost layer remained.
Nameless stepped back a few paces, and the Vampire Jellyfish then lifted away the final stone as well.
Sure enough, only a pile of bones remained beneath the pyramid. At the center of the skeleton was a huge, jagged, diamond-shaped green Level Crystal.
After confirming that it was safe, Nameless approached the skeleton under the Vampire Jellyfish's protection.
Judging from the shape and structure of the bones, this had been a magical beast resembling a cat or Tiger in size. A crystal had indeed grown from its back. Its purpose was unclear for now; perhaps it
