One Punch

Zhang Ping was certain Ji Kai had not fired an arrow into the sky just now.

At first, he had thought Ji Kai's ability had something to do with his bow and arrows. Later, he had suspected Wind Element Manipulation. Now he had ruled out both possibilities.

Elemental manipulation required elemental energy to begin with.

Zhang Ping possessed Flame Element energy himself, and Liu Sishan was skilled in Water Element Manipulation. From watching her at first to using elemental energy himself, he had gained a fairly good understanding of such abilities.

Once elemental energy was released outside the body, it immediately took the form of a corresponding phenomenon.

Flame Element energy became fire outside the body, while water elemental energy became water. Neither could exist in the outside world in its elemental form.

So if Ji Kai's ability was Wind Element Manipulation, he could not have silently transferred wind elemental energy into the sky.

But this was no time for wild guesses. Zhang Ping's body, made of Pure Water, had been sliced into countless tiny pieces. Wind blades kept pushing those pieces around and cutting them again and again.

Anyone who cooked knew that if a pan held drops of water, constantly stirring them with a spatula would soon make them evaporate.

That was exactly Zhang Ping's situation. If this continued, he would evaporate before Ji Kai even needed to strike again.

With no other choice, Zhang Ping gave the others the signal.

When he had entered Pure Water Form, his clothes had fallen to the ground. The wind blades had then shredded them and scattered the Storage Contracts from his pockets in different directions.

Ye Changchun and Su Qingbo emerged first.

Looking down from above, Ye Changchun laughed and brought a palm down toward Ji Kai.
