Mingzhu City had plenty of strange buildings, and structures that defied the laws of architecture kept cropping up.

Zhou Dahao's home was one of them. Built above a swimming pool, it looked like a birdcage. An Awakened's power held it together, so despite its impossible design, there was no danger of it collapsing.

Zhang Ping and Liu Sishan returned to Gui Tower to fetch Cheng Xuejie and Zhang Shouzhong, then headed to Zhou Dahao's home.

At the gate, they found the entrance sealed off by the Patrol Team. Liu Sishan showed them the pass Bai De had given her, and the four of them went inside.

Zhou Dahao's property covered a sizable area, with flowers and greenery planted throughout the courtyard.

"These flowers are blooming awfully well. Think there are a few people buried underneath?" Zhang Shouzhong plucked a rose, sniffed it, and muttered the question.

Zhang Ping swept his Psychokinesis over the flowerbeds. The ground churned, and several sets of bones emerged.

"Holy shit, Zhang Ping! Don't scare me like that!" Zhang Shouzhong jumped at the sight.

Zhang Ping examined them and smiled. "They aren't human bones. Probably Corpse-Eating Ape bones. Burial Ground is a pretty fitting name."
