The three returned to Hope Outpost.

Earlier, they had been so focused on the petrified Bottom-Saver Bodhisattva that they had overlooked the changes around them. Now that they were back, all three noticed several doorways that had been hidden by the darkness.

"So this indoor plaza was where I fought the Ten Evils!" Nameless spotted the damage their battle had caused and spoke with sudden understanding.

Fortunately, the earlier seal had confined the shock waves from their battle to a limited area. Hope Outpost itself was completely untouched. Only part of the floor looked as if it had been plowed, pitted with holes and scored by deep gouges.

Hope Outpost resembled a Hakka earthen building, except that it was shaped like a Bagua.

At its center lay a large Bagua-shaped plaza. Seven of its eight sides faced rooms, while the remaining side faced the exit.

Only then did Nameless realize that the Bottom-Saver Bodhisattva stood exactly at the center of the Bagua—and at the center of Hope Outpost.

"There may still be other dangers inside Hope Outpost. We should stick together."

After a moment's thought, Nameless said to Chen Weihua and Zhang Shouzhong, then smiled. "We'll check the doors one by one and leave once we've figured everything out."

"Okay." Chen Weihua nodded in agreement.

With her Bioforce Field, she was no longer a helpless woman who couldn't even truss a chicken. But compared with monsters built for battle, she was still as fragile as a flower vase. One light blow from an enemy might be enough to send her to an early grave.

"Which door should we check first?" Zhang Shouzhong asked.

Chen Weihua smiled. "Let's start on the left. The message the Bottom-Saver Bodhisattva left is on that side too."

"The left it is," Nameless agreed.
