Nameless opened the room door and looked down at Bone-Melting Dragon, who stood a good deal shorter than him.
"Good evening!"
Bone-Melting Dragon looked up at Nameless and flashed a smile so fake it could not have been faker. Then he suddenly struck, driving the dagger in his hand toward Nameless's throat.
Danger!
Nameless instantly stepped back, then said in surprise, "Your ability is interesting!"
"I think so too!"
Bone-Melting Dragon answered and immediately lunged forward, attacking again with his dagger.
But Nameless dodged every strike in his flurry. Then he caught Bone-Melting Dragon's dagger hand and squeezed lightly. Bones cracked.
Bone-Melting Dragon did not scream. He switched the dagger to his other hand and stabbed viciously at Nameless again.
But Nameless moved after him and arrived first. He caught that hand too and broke its bones with a slight squeeze.
"Looks like I've run into a tough one."
A sickly flush rose on Bone-Melting Dragon's pale face as he grinned fiercely at Nameless.
Then his leg shot up. A dagger sprang from his shoe, and he thrust it at Nameless. But Nameless was faster. He stamped on the top of Bone-Melting Dragon's foot, driving it straight into the floor.
"Your ability is unusual, but unfortunately... you're too weak," Nameless said with a smile.
Bone-Melting Dragon's ability really was intriguing. Horn Attack gave any attack he made with an object angled at thirty degrees the power to pierce defenses.
The Dragon Exoshell was hard, but Horn Attack's defense-piercing effect was peculiar. If it could not break through a physical defense, it might instead strike on a spatial level, or even attack the soul.
In short, if it hit its target, the target would be injured.
Similar abilities existed in Infinity City. Their wielders generally had obsessive-compulsive tendencies or some fixation
