The creature that fell this time was not a Living Corpse, but a Transformation Mutated Beast fleeing in panic.
Because the people of this world were rather timid and weak, and explored the outside world very little, this kind of Transformation Mutated Beast had never been named by humans.
It had wings resembling those of a pterosaur, but its bones were too heavy for it to do more than glide briefly. At the end of its tail grew a ball resembling a meteor hammer.
Though it looked like a large bird, its back was covered in porcupine-like spikes, while its head looked more like a bat's.
If someone well-versed in Transformation Mutated Beast research saw it, its hunting process would immediately come to mind: in the darkness, the massive Transformation Mutated Beast would use its wings from a high perch to locate the sound of prey. Once it found its prey, it would glide down from above and use its own momentum to deliver a final blow with its tail.

When it saw the idle Living Corpses charging at it, it immediately let out a piercing screech. Then its tail swept out fiercely, and the bone hammer at its tip sent all the idlers flying.
The idlers' bones were practically shattered by that strike. Though they still tried to move as they lay on the ground, without the support of their skeletons, they could only wriggle bit by bit and no longer posed any threat.
After eliminating the threat, the Transformation Mutated Beast immediately looked around and let out another shrill cry. Then it became somewhat despairing. It was surrounded by
