Big Yellow's eyes flew wide. His fur stood on end, making him look like a cat whose tail had been stepped on.
Then his pupils changed. One eye kept its original color, while the other turned gold, its pupil narrowing into a long, snake-like slit.
"That's incredible! I can see it! Boss, you..."
Big Yellow's transformation was swift. It ended in moments, and after catching his breath and blinking, he immediately realized his eyes had changed.
He looked up at Nameless, and the smile froze on his face. Behind Nameless, he saw a dark-red sea of Red Spider Lilies on one side and a dazzling Flower Sea of beautiful blossoms he could not identify on the other.
All the words he might have said fell away.
"A transformation should affect your whole body. Has your physical strength improved?" Nameless asked with a smile.
Big Yellow hurriedly shook his head to clear it. "Yes. Everything's stronger, and I've gained a new ability. This eye can see things I couldn't see before."
"Oh? What do you see around me?" Nameless asked at once.
He had noticed Big Yellow freeze. Clearly, Big Yellow had seen something unusual about him.
His first thought was the Black Sun and the White Giant Snake. Had Big Yellow seen them too?
"Boss, behind you, one side looks like a sea of Red Spider Lilies in the Yellow Springs. The other is an endless sea of ordinary flowers. I think they're ordinary, anyway—I can't tell what any of them are," Big Yellow answered honestly.
Nameless was slightly surprised, then smiled. "Your eye really is extraordinary. Take good care of it."
After dividing the Dream River into the Yin River and Yang River, he had remodeled it. He had fashioned the Yin River entirely in the style of
