There were too many monsters on this island. He had to clear out a good number of them first, or he had no idea how he would die once he landed.

In the blink of an eye, the ancient sailing vessel became a high-tech ironclad warship fitted with laser cannons and long-range missiles. As soon as he spotted an island, he gave it a thorough bombardment.
Anyone who had lived in the Divine Treasure Space for over a month collected all kinds of technology. There was plenty of advanced equipment there, and people kept it in their Storage Space not for everyday combat, but for emergencies.
If the Divine Treasury Trial chose them, they might find a use for it in one of the stages.
