A while ago, Monkey had noticed that his clothes had changed color, but he simply could not remember what color they had been before.
In the past, Monkey had never paid attention to the color of his clothes. He spent most of his time racking his brains and giving everything he had just to survive. He had neither the time to think about his clothes' color nor the time to notice it.
By the time he realized their color had changed, it had been that way for a long, long time. Only the sense that something did not match his memories had made him notice.
"All right, let's eat!" Nameless could not help smiling as Monkey danced with delight.
It was a tiny thing, yet it revealed so very much.
Nameless handed Monkey a bowl and asked, "Can you use chopsticks?"
"Yes. My mom taught me!" Monkey nodded.
Nameless gave him a pair of chopsticks too and said with a smile, "Dig in."
Then he began his own lunch. Unlike Monkey, who wolfed his food down, Nameless was only tasting it. Gong Xiang ate two full bowls before stopping.
Watching Monkey eat even more than he had, Gong Xiang said worriedly, "Lord Nameless, if he keeps eating like that, he'll burst."
"Don't worry. I'm here." Nameless smiled.
He glanced at Gong Xiang, then at Monkey. In truth, though Gong Xiang looked clean and tidy while Monkey looked like a wild man, their Bioforce Fields were the exact opposite.
Monkey's Bioforce Field was a sea of gold—not the color of gold metal, but of golden wheat ears.
It even gave Nameless the feeling that, if a gust of wind blew through, he could hear the wheat ears brushing against one another.
