"Watch out!!!"

A gigantic arm fell from the sky, with the City of Terror directly beneath it.

At the last possible moment, all the Hawkins activated their abilities. Invisible barriers rose from the ground, bracing themselves directly above the City of Terror.

Boom!

With a deafening crash, the ground shook violently. Several Hawkins shuddered and slumped to the ground, drained.

The arm was simply too enormous. In fact, only three fingers struck the space above the City of Terror; the rest hit the ground.

The weight is wrong. Even if an arm that big really existed, it couldn't possibly weigh this much, Hawkins thought, catching his breath as he looked at the three fingers blotting out the sky.

Those three fingers weighed at least a trillion tons. Divided evenly, each finger weighed about as much as Mount Tai on Earth.

Every finger was heavier than Mount Tai. What kind of monster was this?

The thought had barely surfaced in Hawkins's mind when the ground shook again. A section of thigh struck the mountain where they had previously lived, driving the entire mountain underground.

"My God!"

They were all on the city walls, and the sight left every one of them stunned.

Such destructive power was terrifying. How powerful would this gigantic humanoid creature have been if it were still alive?

The rain of blood kept falling. Some Hawkins from other timelines had proposed investigating, but Hawkins refused. So far, aside from one arm belonging to the upper body, all the fallen limbs had come from the lower body. More things were bound to fall.

Yet they waited for over half a day without seeing any more limbs fall. Only the rain of blood continued.

"Could it have gotten stuck?" Wilhelm speculated, watching the bloody rain outside.
