Hawkins's demand was rather unreasonable. After all, no one wanted to lay all their trump cards bare.

Once the True-Self Perfect One explained his system, it would not be difficult to deduce the abilities he might possess, or even the weaknesses he currently had.

After some consideration, however, the True-Self Perfect One still decided to accept Hawkins's condition. The undying will was something he was determined to obtain.

"My system originated from the 'polyhedral crystal heart-reflection system,' which came from a miraculous 'Polyhedral Crystal.' It possesses unfathomable power and can work out the most suitable path for each individual.

"My path is called the 'path of the True-Self Perfect One.' My aptitude is actually poor. My body has less potential than an ordinary person's, and my willpower is far weaker, too. Simply put, I'm a good-for-nothing. But the core method of the True-Self Perfect One's system is to extract other people's strengths to remedy my own weaknesses. If my willpower is too weak, I find someone with a tenacious will to strengthen it. If my constitution is too frail, I find someone with a powerful constitution to complete mine.

"But what belongs to others is ultimately just that, so it will run out one day. That trapped me in a vicious cycle. I have to keep collecting better, stronger powers to complete myself. Your undying will, however, can merge with my system and make the power of my will burn like an undying flame, never to be extinguished.

"That... is why I must have the undying will," the True-Self Perfect One said frankly, looking earnestly at Hawkins.

After hearing this, Hawkins understood. In that case, the True-Self Perfect One truly was determined to obtain his undying will. It was simply too important to him.
