"Could you give me a drop of your blood, Hawkins?" Shaya asked while Hawkins was thinking.
Hawkins looked at Shaya and could not help smiling. "Are you planning to verify kinship with blood?"
"No, I just want to compare the similarity of our genes," Shaya replied, shaking her head.
She had visited countless technologically advanced worlds, so she naturally knew that blood-based kinship tests were unreliable. She was no fossil from a bygone age; on the contrary, she possessed many high-tech tools, even more miraculous than the Doraemon from comics.
Hawkins held out a finger. A drop of blood seeped from his capillaries and automatically floated before Shaya.
He also wanted to know whether what Sa had said was true. Though he subjectively believed it was a lie, who could say what would happen in the future?
Shaya immediately took a gun from her storage ring. Its muzzle was a straw. After drawing Hawkins's blood into the gun, Shaya immediately fired it at herself.
The next moment, the light on the gun changed from green to red. Shaya looked disappointed. "Mother lied. I'm not your child."
"Is this gun's accuracy in verifying blood relatives one hundred percent?" Hawkins asked curiously.
Shaya nodded, but she had already lost interest in Hawkins. She put away the gun and said to him, "I'm going to help Mother in the kitchen. Goodbye."
"Goodbye!" Hawkins said with a smile.
He knew Sa had been talking nonsense earlier. He had long since lost interest in producing offspring. Women were no different from any other living creature in his eyes, so how could he possibly have a child with a woman for no reason at all?
The City Lord's Manor had an enormous kitchen. Whenever the mood struck him, Hawkins would occasionally make a few small dishes
