Hadi VS Horse-Faced Evil Beast

Humans were a very strange species.

In his search for God, Hadi had encountered all kinds of people: those who bravely marched to their deaths, those who fled in terror, those who sold out their friends to survive, and those who stayed behind alone to cover the retreat.

He had once overheard a word from a human: Evil Beast.

It seemed to be a term used to describe beings like him, so he had a question: what was evil?

Evil seemed to be a word exclusive to humans.

For in the world of animals, there was no good or evil. Everything was merely for survival. He ate meat because he was hungry; he killed because he needed meat to eat.

He had never felt that this made him evil. Just as cattle and sheep ate grass, they surely did not feel guilty toward the little blades beneath their hooves, believing themselves to be committing evil.

In order to understand evil, he came into contact with its opposite: good.

But after understanding the meaning of good and evil, he fell into an even greater confusion. Why did humans call beings like him Evil Beasts?

He had clearly committed no evil. He had even taken the initiative to avoid humans.

That day, he suddenly understood a truth: so-called good and evil were all defined by humans themselves. What benefited humans was good; what harmed humans was evil.

Thus, he no longer dwelled on good and evil. After all, he was not human, so why should he acknowledge humanity's set of values?

Or perhaps he could establish his own good and evil. What benefited the wolf pack would be good, and what harmed the wolf pack would be evil.
