Martin discussed it with Hadi, and they finally decided to follow Mai Yuqiang's orders for now and see what the Looting Emperor intended to do.

The Looting Emperor's words made it clear that he planned to summon all the Evil Beasts. Otherwise, he would have said "you," not "all of you." This was a chance to catch the Evil Beasts in one net.

Martin did not post the information in the battle channel. He sent it only to Tapir and Hawkins, then followed Mai Yuqiang.

In the past, he had never understood how Infinite City could have traitors and spies.

But after all he had been through, he gradually understood that sometimes, not wanting to betray someone was not enough to prevent it.

Half an hour passed in the blink of an eye. Mai Yuqiang reached a cave.

Martin sprinted the whole way. At last, he leaped down from a tree and landed just behind Mai Yuqiang. Mai Yuqiang walked slowly into the cave, and Martin followed.

An Evil Beast was clearly hiding inside, though Martin did not know whether it had once been human or animal.
