Sa remained calm. She looked at the old mayor and said, "The Blazing Boar Herd is the best evidence. Just send someone to investigate, and you'll soon find where it is. Whether the Black Storm comes or not, you can use escaping the Blazing Boar Herd as a reason to get the townspeople to safety first."

The Black Storm was, after all, an exceptionally rare catastrophe, one that might not occur even once in decades. Convincing people of it was no easy task.

Beast disasters, on the other hand, were relatively common. Whether it was a Blazing Boar Herd, a Blue-Furred Wolf Pack, or a Thunder Lion Pride, every town had surely experienced something similar.

Around Waterwood Town, mass snake rampages were actually more common, usually occurring at the turn of spring and summer.

The mayor considered this, then nodded. "I'll send someone with you. Once we confirm that the Blazing Boar Herd is migrating toward town, I can order everyone to evacuate, whether they like it or not."

"Fine, but we have to hurry!" Owl glanced at Sa and, seeing her nod in agreement, accepted.

When Owl had heard the mayor refuse earlier, he had nearly exploded with anxiety. Fortunately, Sa had found a way. Her persuasion had finally kept the situation from taking a turn for the worse.

"Trevor, get out here!" The old mayor turned and shouted.

A moment later, a young man nearly three meters tall emerged from the house. His skin was somewhat dark, his entire body packed with muscle, and he looked as though he had yet to wake up properly.

Most striking of all was the python draped over him. It coiled around his body, its head resting beside his neck. If it went berserk and bit him, the consequences would be unthinkable.
