After a brief discussion, Owl and Sa decided to split up to search for the boars. Whether they found the herd or not, they would return to the cliff in half an hour to meet up.

The decision was somewhat risky. Neither of them had really done much on their own before.

But after being paralyzed by the gas, carried away by the strange bird, and then rescued by Sa, Owl had already realized that she was no longer the little girl who needed his protection and care.

They split up, one heading south and the other north, gradually moving farther apart.

With the Yearblade Moon-Sword Staff in hand, Owl leaped from treetop to treetop, covering several thousand meters with each jump.

He did not jump in a straight line. Instead, he first leaped upward, then descended in an arc, finally landing on another tree before jumping again, repeating the cycle.

This was the most energy-efficient method, and it was also very fast.

A few minutes later, he stopped on a tree, his gaze settling on a shorter tree below. It bore three purple fruits shaped somewhat like six-pointed stars.

He recognized them. They were poisonous fruits, but once processed, they made an excellent seasoning required in several dishes.

He jumped straight down and landed beside the fruits, cutting them off with the Yearblade Moon-Sword Staff. Only after making sure there was no danger did he pick them up.

"Something's wrong. Three-Pronged Vipers usually coil around Poison Mango trees. Why aren't there any around this one?" He scanned his surroundings, put the fruits away, and jumped straight up onto a treetop twenty meters above the ground.
