Emperor Jun built and governed the Heavenly Court, while the Wu Tribe, Nüwa, and the rising Sages reshaped the Primordial World. After defeating Grand Pure Laozi over the Kongtong Seal, Emperor Jun and Nüwa placed it among the Human Race for protection.

Arc 9The Heavenly Court Ascendant

Emperor Jun established the Heavenly Court, formed the Grand Heavenly Star Formation, and resisted Luo Hou’s attempt to possess him. Wu Xian brought the Demon Clan’s methods to the Wu Tribe, while Nüwa introduced Heavenly Marriage and left Xihe and Changxi to decide who would become Heavenly Empress.

  • Emperor Jun appointed Eastern Emperor Taiyi, Fuxi, Bai Ze, and Kunpeng as the Four Great Emperors, opened the Heavenly Gates, and conferred authority on the Star Gods.
  • Emperor Jun led the Star Gods in forming the Grand Heavenly Star Formation, which drew in Chaotic Energy, produced Primordial Spiritual Energy, and earned Hongjun’s praise and merit.

Emperor Jun arranged a shared Heavenly Marriage for Xihe and Changxi, then joined Dao Ancestor Hongjun and Luo Hou in battle against Yang Mei and the Chaotic Beasts. After studying the Heavenly Dao Laws Golden Wheel, he returned to find the Wu Tribe challenging the Celestial Court and resumed governing the Heavenly Court.

  • Emperor Jun and Nüwa determined that Xihe and Changxi could share the Heavenly Empress Authority, and Emperor Jun set their wedding for three thousand years later.
  • Emperor Jun enlisted the Dragon, Phoenix, and Qilin Clans to provide carriage pullers, then held the Heavenly Marriage as Dao Ancestor Hongjun approved the vows and Emperor Jun divided the authority between the sisters.

Arc 11Nüwa Creates the Human Race

Emperor Jun accompanied Nüwa as she discovered that creating a new race was her path to Sagehood, then protected the Human Race and taught its founders the Law Manifestation Method. After Nüwa attained Sagehood and opened Wa Emperor Palace, she preached the Creation Dao while other great powers sought the path to become Sages.

  • Emperor Jun traveled with Nüwa as she searched the Primordial World for the opportunity to attain Sagehood, and she realized that creating living beings was her path.
  • With Emperor Jun's help, Nüwa combined Nine Heavens Breath Soil with Three Lights Divine Water, created the Human Race, and gained enough merit to become a Sage.
  • Nüwa asked Emperor Jun to protect the Human Race while she familiarized herself with her Sage realm, and Emperor Jun sheltered its people in a Secluded Paradise.

As the Sages rose and the Human Race’s fortune shifted, Emperor Jun watched rival cultivation paths take root and clashed with Grand Pure Laozi over the Kongtong Seal. After defeating Laozi, Emperor Jun and Nüwa agreed to place the treasure among the Human Race to help protect them.

  • Nüwa concealed the Heavenly Secret with Emperor Jun, then revealed that she had seen a future in which the Celestial Court fell, the Wu Tribe declined, and the Human Race rose.
  • Nether River Daoist created the Asura Race, but his attempt to become a Sage failed, and his new race faced stillbirths and attacks from Mosquito Daoist.
  • Grand Pure Laozi found his opportunity among the Human Race, taught the Golden Core Great Dao, and became a Sage by establishing the Human Sect.
  • Jade Pure Yuanshi and Supreme Pure Tongtian established their sects and became Sages, then Daoist Jie Yin and Daoist Zhun Ti founded Buddhism and attained Sagehood through their Great Vows.
