Arc 17Pillars and the Western Debt

Emperor Jun and Nüwa established the Four Symbols Heavenly Pillars, then Emperor Jun claimed control of the Heavenly Realm and trapped Zhun Ti after he schemed against the Demon Clan. Jie Yin secured Zhun Ti’s release by accepting Emperor Jun’s merit debt and surrendering Buddhism’s treasury, while the Wu Tribe prepared for a decisive battle with the Celestial Court.

  • Emperor Jun and Nüwa used the Great Ao’s body to create the Four Symbols Heavenly Pillars, which merged with the Pangu Membrane and helped Mengzhang, Jianbing, Lingguang, and Zhiming reach the Quasi-Sage realm.

Arc 18The Fall of the Ancestral Witches

The Wu Tribe and Celestial Court fought at Mount Buzhou, and Emperor Jun’s incarnation led the Ancestral Witches into a battle against Sage Taiqing that summoned Great God Pangu. After Pangu’s future consciousness vanished, the story followed Pangu’s creation of the Primordial World and returned to Emperor Jun studying the gift Pangu had left him.

  • Lady Pingxin agreed to receive the Wu Tribe in the Netherworld, and Houtu later delivered the challenge for the Wu Tribe to fight the Celestial Court at Mount Buzhou in three thousand years.
  • At Mount Buzhou, Emperor Jun’s incarnation revealed himself as the Twelfth Ancestral Witch and joined the eleven others to summon the Pangu phantom, which shattered the Ten Thousand Immortals Formation and destroyed the Celestial Court.
  • Sage Taiqing confronted the Twelve Ancestral Witches in Chaos, where they sacrificed their bodies and souls to let Emperor Jun’s incarnation take sole control of the Pangu phantom.

Emperor Jun’s incarnation became Great Emperor Fengdu and established the Ghost Path, becoming the Netherworld’s second Sage with Lady Pingxin’s support. After the Underworld secured a merit-sharing covenant with Buddhism, Emperor Jun guarded Eastern Emperor Taiyi as he began cultivating both the Solar Path and the path of time and space.

  • Lady Pingxin restored the Six Paths of Reincarnation Disk, examined the Twelve Ancestral Witches’ souls, and helped Emperor Jun’s weakened incarnation awaken.
  • Emperor Jun’s incarnation found his place in the Netherworld, named himself Fengdu, and cultivated the Ghost Path with Emperor Jun’s guidance.
  • Great Emperor Fengdu preached the Ghost Path and declared its establishment, while Lady Pingxin gathered the Ancestral Witches’ souls as Sage Taiqing confronted him.

Arc 20Heavenly Punishment and the Celestial Emperor

Eastern Emperor Taiyi completed his Three Corpses and began pursuing the Heavenly Realm’s Sage Fruit Position as Emperor Jun negotiated authority for the Heavenly Court. The Sages agreed to assess candidates for Celestial Emperor, and Emperor Jun drew seven of them into separate Mind Realms to begin the trial.

  • Eastern Emperor Taiyi severed his Self Corpse and completed all Three Corpses, then Emperor Jun explained how he could pursue Sagehood by resonating with the Heavenly Realm’s laws.
  • Emperor Jun brought Taiyi to the Heavenly Realm to comprehend its laws while the Three Purities planned to establish a new Celestial Court with Donghua as their candidate.
  • Dao Ancestor Hongjun summoned the Sages to discuss the Celestial Court, and Emperor Jun shifted the debate toward the Heavenly Court receiving authority to act on Heaven’s behalf and execute punishment.
