Duan De muttered as he studied the mountains and the veins beneath them, utterly unaware that some unfilial descendants were using the skills their founding master had passed down to set a trap for his Reincarnation Body.

Duan De stopped short. Delight spread across his face as he gazed at a point among the mountains where dragon energy gathered and an earth-born dragon pearl had formed—a place of immeasurable value.
Using a mysterious technique, he stepped inside. An ancient tomb appeared before him, its surface flickering with runes from the Chaotic Ancient Era. A sense of vast, distant ages rose from it.
Around the tomb, traces of five-colored clay bore murals from remote antiquity. They depicted the Golden-Winged Great Peng, True Dragons, Divine Phoenixes, and other divine beasts. At the very top stood what seemed to be an enormous black beast holding a scepter and ruling over the Nine Heavens and Ten Earths.
"Was there a divine beast like that in Ancient Antiquity? Why does it look like a mutt?"
Duan De looked puzzled. After thinking for a moment, he went to a corner of the mural, pinched up some damp earth, and tasted it. This was a secret method of the Source Heavenly Masters: by tasting the soil, one could judge how much dragon energy a place held and whether it had nurtured a treasure of heaven and earth.
If a great tomb had nurtured Yin Spirits and ghost generals instead of treasure, one had to be wary—or even flee.
