Saint Lord Lin Xian and the Mystery of the Immortal Path

"Hu, hu, hu..."

An eerie sound rose, like war drums beating and soldiers wailing. Rank upon rank of yin soldiers and generals parted, and a humanoid creature emerged. He had flesh and blood!

The demon general wore black-gold armor and had a wolf's head. He advanced slowly, radiating an aura of death. He was far stronger than the yin soldiers.

He raised his head and turned it a full circle. Then he stared straight at the three nearby men. Yin fire seemed to burn in his eyes, as though he possessed a mind of his own.

"Holy hell!"

Lin Xian, Ye Fan, and Duan De cried out together. Startled, they nearly turned and ran.

But the next moment, all three stopped. The wolf-headed Yin Spirit had not attacked and showed no hostility. He seemed to have been confirming their identities.

When he saw Lin Xian, the wolf-headed Yin Spirit knelt and respectfully placed a jade pendant bearing a green lotus design beside the pool.

"What's going on? Is the Azure Emperor awake or not?"

"Could he be half-awake?"

Lin Xian hesitated, not daring to approach. The wolf-headed Yin Spirit remained expressionless and led the yin soldiers and generals back beneath the water.

"Oh? Treasure!"

While the three were still recovering from their fright, an unfamiliar voice rang out. A young man whose sleeve bore the emblem of Yaoguang Holy Land had arrived. He glanced at the three of them, then fixed a greedy gaze on the Green Lotus Jade Pendant beside the pool.

"I am a disciple of Yaoguang. My elders have ordered you three to leave at once." The young man was exceedingly arrogant, as though superiority came naturally to him.

"A disciple of Yaoguang?"

Lin Xian sneered. "Is that supposed to impress me? I'm the Tianxuan Sacred Lord."
