Why was Sakyamuni Buddha stuck at half-Transcendence? Because that great Buddha was too burdened. The Jianmu Fruit could indeed aid Transcendence and help one attain the Dao Fruit realm.
Yet refining the Jianmu Fruit was equivalent to bearing an entire Multiverse upon oneself. Under such immense pressure, how could one achieve Transcendence? One would inevitably become stuck upon the path, struggling forward, unable to advance or retreat.
But Lin Xian was destined to die sooner or later. He was to wage the ultimate final battle against the Eerie Plateau. Since that was the case, he would die spectacularly, die gloriously.
The more he accumulated, the more he could sacrifice. Lin Xian wanted to set off the greatest firework in history.
