The Final Tribulation had arrived, and the era was nearing its end. It should have been a scene of decline, yet because the Heavenly Court governed the world, the Ninefold Immortal Realm poured down endless pure qi, instead creating a Golden Age.
Furthermore, as the era drew to a close, the True World had produced a group of children of Heavenly Mandate to save itself, people like Lu Da and Su Wuming. This made the final years increasingly prosperous, with no shortage of newcomers proving the Dao of Legend and advancing to Fortune.
The Other Shore Practitioners watched the situation coldly and did not intervene. No golden age lasted forever, nor did any dynasty possess Immortality. No matter how great the prosperity, it would eventually fade away into nothingness. Only the Dao Fruit was real.

The Final Tribulation was fleeting, and time was limited. Without investment from the Other Shore and the act of subtraction to emptiness, even someone like Lu Da, with the potential of a Dao Ancestor who had forged his own path, had no hope of perfecting Fortune.
