On Saturday morning, thick white fog blanketed everything.
Li Wei stood beside Hagrid's hut, saying goodbye to the reluctant Hagrid.
Hagrid was reluctant because he had not seen his baby dragon, little Norbert, in a long time!
This weekend had originally been the time Li Wei and Hagrid had agreed upon to visit the Fire Dragon and look after Norbert.
But with no classes scheduled over the weekend, it was undoubtedly the perfect time for Li Wei to follow Headmaster Dumbledore on the Horcrux Hunt.
After much coaxing, Li Wei finally managed to comfort the sniffling "idiot" boy Hagrid and send him back into his seemingly small yet actually enormous wooden hut.
After quite a while, Dumbledore's tall, aged figure emerged from the white mist.
"You came!"
"I came."
"You shouldn't have come!"
"What do you mean, I shouldn't have come? Li Wei, what are you talking about?"
Dumbledore looked at Li Wei with a face full of confusion, wondering whether Li Wei had gone mad at such a young age. Most wizards were eccentric, but surely not that eccentric?
"Hehe~ Nothing, nothing. Let's go!"
Li Wei gave an awkward laugh. He had thought some kind of chivalric MOD would be triggered, so he hurriedly changed the subject and asked Dumbledore:
"Headmaster, where are we going to look for those Dark Magic items?"
"And how are we leaving Hogwarts? By Apparition?"
"That's right," Dumbledore said, revealing their destination.
"With no fireplace and no Portkey, the two of us can only leave Hogwarts' grounds and use Apparition to go to Diagon Alley!"
"Li Wei, how has your Apparition practice been going? Do you need me to Side-Along Apparate you?"
Dumbledore guessed that, given Li Wei's magical attainments, he must have secretly practiced Apparition, a spell that required special Ministry of Magic
