"Dad! Mum!"
At King's Cross Platform, Hermione got off the train and stepped out of Platform Nine and Three-Quarters. Spotting Mr. and Mrs. Granger, she flew into Mrs. Granger's arms like a butterfly, pouring out how much she had missed them.
"Oh, sweetheart, Dad and Mum missed you too!"
"Hermione, you've grown taller after half a year apart!"
Mr. and Mrs. Granger looked fondly at their daughter, whom they had not seen for half a year. As they stroked Hermione's fluffy hair, they discovered that she had grown nearly half a head taller!
"Li Wei, you've grown quite a bit too! You're even taller than Hermione now!"
Mr. Granger looked at Li Wei approvingly. The boy before him had shed some of his childishness and no longer looked like the child he had once been.
"Uncle, Auntie, it's been a long time!"
Li Wei replied with a smile as well, and the group exchanged a few pleasantries at the station.
They also ran into Molly and Mr. Arthur Weasley, as well as Neville's grandmother, Mrs. Longbottom. After another round of polite conversation, they finally got into the car and headed home.
"Li Wei, Hermione, do you two have any plans for the holiday?"
Mrs. Granger asked Li Wei and Hermione curiously.
Last Christmas, she and Mr. Granger had been warmly hosted by Li Wei, and they wanted to return the favour properly.
"How about we take a trip to France together? Nice's Bay of Angels is on the southern coast. The sea is clear and blue, the sunshine is wonderful, and the scenery is especially beautiful. It's perfect for a family outing!"
Mr. Granger, who was driving, chimed in with the suggestion.
If they wanted to enjoy sunshine and beaches, they English had to go to France. The weather here
