An Encounter with the Headmaster
Having strengthened his Wand, Levi left the Room of Requirement.
Relying on his somewhat hazy memory, Levi searched for a long time before finally finding the Room of Requirement on the Seventh Floor of the castle.
As the first hidden location he found, the Room of Requirement successfully increased Levi's exploration progress to 25%.
Harvest another 500 credits was certainly gratifying, but what made Levi even happier was that he had gained a relatively private space.
The space inside the bed curtains in the dormitory is still too small.
Things like strengthening Wand and testing spells would be too wasteful of credits to do in the Spell Training Ground; the Room of Requirement is much more suitable.
But as soon as he stepped out of the Room of Requirement, he saw Headmaster Dumbledore standing in the middle of the Seventh Floor corridor, smiling broadly and greeting him warmly.
"Good day, Mr. Livikines. It seems you've also discovered this hidden location!"
"Congratulations! This is a place that only a very few junior wizards can discover and that can offer help!"
Professor Dumbledore's gentle smile made him look like an NPC congratulating a player on discovering a hidden Easter egg.
"Uh! Good day, Headmaster Dumbledore!"
Levi was startled and quickly greeted Professor Dumbledore. At the same time, the Occlumency within his body was also rapidly activating.
Of the nearly 10,000 credits he earned, aside from enhancing his Wand and practicing the Killing Curse, he poured them all into the even more difficult Occlumency.
Levi realized that he, as a transmigrator, possessed too many secrets in his mind that could change the world.
If he were to ask Professor Flitwick or Professor Snape to teach him Occlumency, it would be difficult for him to find a suitable excuse.
What earth-shattering conspiracy is brewing in his mind, a mere eleven-year-old wizard who has just started school, that requires Occlumency to protect him?
Even if it's under the pretext of magical training, it's too easy to arouse suspicion.
So Levi spent money again, spending 1,000 credits to redeem this advanced spell from the Spell Shop.
He also spent credits to exchange for time to use the Spell Training Ground and practice the Occlumency.
Even though Levi created an environment extremely suitable for practicing this Spells, Occlumency was still much more difficult to master than the Killing Curse.
The Shadow Teacher created in the training ground will constantly use Legilimency to steal secrets from his mind.
He was also temporarily granted the Legilimency, and needed to do everything possible to obtain "secrets" such as 1+1=2 from the Shadow Teacher's higher-level Occlumency.
In this environment of mutual theft, it took Levi a full five hours to upgrade his Occlumency to Lv.5!
He certainly wanted to continue his cultivation, but he had very few credits left!
I'm so poor! Levi felt like he was dirt poor!
He couldn't even scrape together ten Galleon, and he only had a few dozen credits left.
Despite his poverty, all he possessed was profound magic and a wealth of knowledge!
Oh, and there's also a powerful Elderwood Phoenix Feather Wand that's far more potent than the Elder Wand!
"Don't be nervous, Mr. Keynes. It's the weekend, and it's daytime. I, this 'strict' principal, won't deduct House Points, hahaha~"
Headmaster Dumbledore made a clumsy joke and laughed to himself.
Levi remained expressionless, even feeling a bit cold, and immediately prepared to leave.
"Then, Principal, I'll be going now. I need to go to the library to read!"
"Wait," Headmaster Dumbledore called to Levi, speaking in an approving tone:
"Minerva, Filius, they both told me about you, this diligent little wizard, and they especially told me about your brave and righteous speech!"
"That's great!"
Headmaster Dumbledore rubbed his eyes, as if tears of emotion were welling up in them, and said:
"Magic is not power, but a language of resistance against oppression and injustice!"
"That's absolutely right, Mr. Keynes!"
"If I had understood this sooner, I wouldn't have... Little Tom ~ Why am I telling you this? I was so confused!"
When Levi heard Headmaster Dumbledore call him to a stop, he had no choice but to stop and patiently listen to Professor Dumbledore's praise of him.
The name "Little Tom" in particular sparked his imagination; he certainly didn't think it was Headmaster Dumbledore of referring to the owner of the Leaky Cauldron.
He bowed to Dumbledore, thanking him for his praise, and said:
"Thank you for your praise, Principal, but that's all in the past."
Mr. Malfoy has been Punishment for his erroneous views, and I have defended my honor and lineage."
"As for my speech, Principal, language is ultimately just language."
If words cannot be institutionalized, cannot become eternal beliefs and creeds in people's hearts.
"Then, it's no different from the sound of the wind whistling past your ears normally!"
Levi was sometimes utterly disappointed by the Wizarding World's outdated, stubborn, and conservative nature!
So what if Harry Potter defeated Voldemort?
So what if the Order of the Phoenix defeated the Death Eaters?
Ultimately, the entire Wizarding World remained stagnant; wizards were still ranked according to their birth, without any change whatsoever.
All the bloodshed and sacrifice only brought a little Hustle to a stagnant pool, but that was all!
Upon hearing Levi's words, a glint of light flashed in Dumbledore's old yet bright eyes.
He gave Levi a deep look, and in this young wizard he seemed to see the shadow of an old friend, yet something different.
"Yes, you're absolutely right, Mr. Keynes," Headmaster Dumbledore, as an enlightened elder, did not deny Levi's point of view, but instead said:
"However, this is very difficult, extremely difficult. Sometimes, even changing mindsets makes many people uncomfortable!"
"They'll instinctively object, and then... sigh~"
With a sigh, Dumbledore witnessed too much bloodshed and death caused by change!
Death is a great adventure, at least for the wizard himself.
The sudden death of a close friend, teacher, student, or child is the most terrifying and sorrowful thing for a wizard who has personally experienced it!
"Reform will inevitably infringe upon the interests of those who have vested interests; infringing upon interests will inevitably lead to conflict; conflict will inevitably lead to bloodshed and sacrifice; sacrifice is unavoidable!"
Levi directly explained the cause and effect relationship, which was simply the most basic principle to him.
Whether to endure prolonged pain or short-term pain depends entirely on the individual's choice.
"Your thoughts are astonishingly profound, Mr. Keynes. Minerva is right; sometimes I really have to wonder if you're even a child anymore."
Dumbledore listened to Levi's words and sincerely praised him, then added a joke at the end.
Levi felt a slight sweat break out on his back after hearing this. "Don't joke around like that!"
He could only offer a casual explanation. "I just read a few more books."
You probably don't know this, do you?
In the Muggle World, books about reform and revolution are not rare and can be easily purchased.
There are also great thinkers and philosophers among Muggle who explain things like ideas, reforms, revolutions, and the distribution of benefits clearly and plainly.
"It's as simple as you explaining the magic Lumos!"
At the end, Levi even gave a small compliment to Headmaster Dumbledore.
He could tell that the old principal wanted to talk to him, so he decided not to leave anytime soon.
