The rainy season had ended.
The strange tide that had traveled so far had temporarily chosen a ceasefire. Everything seemed peaceful, as if all had fallen into Peace.
But...
That was only on the surface.
Not long after dawn, the heavy rain finally stopped, and sunlight spilled over the Yellow Springs Mouth Region for the first time in ages.
"Your Majesty, wake up! Wake up!"
The Old Strange Entity gazed at the Azure Phantom Black Tortoise rapidly approaching from outside the city and anxiously shook awake the Ghost Emperor, who was sleeping on the city wall beside him.
Startled out of his groggy sleep, the Ghost Emperor sprang up almost reflexively and quickly scanned his surroundings. He soon spotted the Azure Phantom Black Tortoise charging toward the city wall. Instantly grasping the situation, he stepped off the wall without a moment's hesitation.
He hovered in the air.
His figure shrouded in gray fog, he shot toward the Yellow Springs Mouth Sea.
It was a long story.
A very long story.
Ten or so days had passed since he had made peace with the Mortal Domain. Everything had been normal, with neither side interfering with the other.
When he fled the Yellow Springs Mouth Region that day, he had quickly shaken off the Azure Phantom Black Tortoise.
He had to admit one thing.
Though the Azure Black Tortoise was entirely phantom and nearly invincible, it was still a Black Tortoise. Its speed was nowhere near his. Aside from its slightly faster initial charge, he had soon left it far behind.
He had even stayed in a city in the Yellow Springs Mouth Region, happily waiting for dawn.
But shortly after daybreak...

At the far end of the plains, he saw the Azure Black Tortoise again. It was nowhere
