He looked up at Leon, who was carrying him.
"How did you do that?" he asked in amazement.
Leon smiled without answering. "Finally calmed down? Honestly, your scream just now was at least three decibels louder than my brother's when he cried for help."
"That was an accident, an accident. I'm not usually like this..." Director Bard realized he had embarrassed himself and sheepishly wiped at the nonexistent sweat on his forehead.
He glanced down. Scattered zombies prowled through the pitch-black streets.
More than a dozen others, their jaws and arms already rotted away, were crowding the police station gates and pounding on them nonstop.
"What should we do now? Uh... Mr. Savior?" Bard asked tentatively.
Leon smiled. "Just call me Leon. Next, we naturally go inside the police station."
He began descending, then breathed out Freeze Breath as he neared the ground.
Layer after layer of frost rapidly spread across the streets.

The ice spread until it enveloped the buildings within three hundred meters of the police station.
It turned the entire area into a kingdom of frost.
Yet, strangely enough,
the ice only covered the surfaces of objects.
It did not affect their internal structure.
One or two stubbornly glowing yellow streetlights continued to shine and give off heat beneath their icy shells, their light passing through the solid ice and casting strange colors.
"My God! It's like an ice god brought down his scepter!" The frozen streets reflected in Director Bard's eyes, dreamlike and fantastical.
"That metaphor isn't quite appropriate." Leon set Bard down. "After all, I'm only carrying you in my hand."
Feeling Leon's friendly attitude toward him, Director Bard laughed. "It would be my honor to become your scepter!"
Leon shook his head
