He went on to explain Thanos's story and the situation he had brought with him.
After hearing his son out, Odin fell into thought.
He had not expected Thanos to come from another universe.

While they talked, some of the corrupted people had suffered such severe mental contamination that they turned completely into monsters and kept fighting.
Others, less severely affected, returned to their original forms and stared around in bewilderment.
They had forgotten everything that happened while they were corrupted and had no idea why they were there.
But even more people were caught in between, too corrupted to recover but not enough to turn into monsters.
If they could not recover within three days, they would likely all starve to death.
