Thanos didn't know how powerful the Fire Phoenix was, but now it seemed she was at least Omniversal Level.
Even the unknown being who had just arrived couldn't subdue the newly awakened Fire Phoenix right away.
Their battle had unleashed countless Chaos Currents across this Multiverse, destroying untold numbers of universes.
Even here, so far from the fighting, he had felt its effects.
The fate of universes closer to the battle was easy to imagine.
That was probably why Omniversal Level beings weren't allowed to appear at all.
After all, a single clash had nearly shattered the Multiverse. If beings like that fought regularly, even the Omniverse couldn't withstand it.
But the danger he needed to consider now wasn't the unknown being's arrival. It was what would come afterward.
Chaos Currents had already torn apart a sizable portion of the Reality Universe he was in. The barriers of his Milky Way Dimension were tougher than those of the Reality Universe, but even they couldn't withstand an endless barrage of Chaos Currents.
As he considered this, black Space Rifts suddenly appeared throughout the Reality Universe around him.
Then darkness swallowed everything.
Damn it. Another Chaos Current—and it's right on top of me.
He had no time to recall the troops still fighting outside. He immediately reinforced the Milky Way Dimension's barriers with all his strength to resist the Chaos Current.
Rumble...
The next moment, darkness surrounded Thanos. Only the faint glow of the dimensional barriers remained, showing they were still holding on.
The Chaos Current vanished as quickly as it had come, disappearing after a few seconds.
Beyond the dimension lay nothing but darkness. The enemy's allied forces were gone, and so were his own troops.
That settled it. He had to leave.
*This Multiverse is already shattered. I can't stay
