Faced with Thanos's question, Nemesis took a small step back to put some distance between them, then smiled. "Monitoring you? That sounds so unpleasant.

"I just happened to see a few things.

"And when you managed to leave the Marvel Universe, many beings discussed what would happen to you. They thought you wouldn't last a year before coming straight back.

"I never expected you to stay out there for over a thousand years."

What being at the Omniversal Level didn't want to leave their original world and become truly independent?

Nemesis, however, was at the Omniversal Level. The energy within her could make who knew how many universes.

If Thanos dared take Nemesis with him, the Living Tribunal would come knocking at once.

Nemesis knew that too. She gave a faint smile and moved closer to Thanos again.

"Don't worry. At most, I'll send an Avatar at the Universal Level. I won't put you in a difficult position.

"I just want to keep an escape route open."

Seeing her try to seduce him again left Thanos speechless.
