Background

Xiao Wu attended Nording Academy, where her quick temper and strength established her as “Sister Xiao Wu” among the work-study students. She regularly sparred with Lin Tian but could not last three exchanges against him, even with her exceptionally fast kicks. 7

She became close to both Lin Tian and Tang San. During the academy break, she chose to accompany Lin Tian to Bamboo Ridge rather than return with Tang San to Holy Soul Village, having grown wary after Lin Tian suggested that Tang San’s father might be the Clear Sky Douluo. 12 13 She later became sworn siblings with them: Tang San was named eldest brother, Lin Tian second brother, and Xiao Wu third sister. 14

Lin Tian’s apparent death in a cliff fall devastated her. After Tang San examined the body and found shattered bones and ruptured organs, Xiao Wu suspected that Tang Hao had arranged the murder because of her identity as a Transformed Soul Beast. 16 17

Appearance

As a child, Xiao Wu had a fair, rosy face, large watery eyes, and a scorpion braid that hung past her hips. 7 By the time she reunited with Lin Yuan years later, she stood around 1.7 meters tall. 45

Xiao Wu is outspoken, playful, and confrontational. She openly challenged Lin Tian after losing to him, enjoyed watching Xiao Chenyu’s defeat, and urged Lin Tian to hit harder despite Xiao Chenyu’s pleas. 7 9 She also insists on being treated with respect, forcing Xiao Chenyu to call her “Sister Xiao Wu.” 10

Her loyalty is intense. Lin Tian’s death leaves her grief-stricken, and she remains deeply concerned for Lin Yuan’s family even when she believes she is about to be killed. 16 74 She considers love sacred and rejects Chang Gong Miao for pursuing several women at once. 63

Xiao Wu initially reacts with embarrassment and anger when Lin Yuan calls her Lin Tian’s “sister-in-law.” 8 Although she rejects the implication, Lin Tian’s interest in her is apparent, and their growing closeness becomes a source of tension with Tang San. 8 12

Her decision to visit Bamboo Ridge with Lin Tian places him directly in Tang Hao’s path. Lin Tian is killed shortly afterward, leaving Xiao Wu bereaved and increasingly suspicious of Tang Hao. 13 15 17

Reunion in Suotuo City

Years later, Xiao Wu recognizes Lin Yuan despite his transformed physique and appearance. She approaches him enthusiastically and questions where he has been, but he claims to be someone named “Ling Yuan” and leaves her uncertain whether she was mistaken. 44 45

Star Dou Great Forest Incident

Xiao Wu conceals her level-30 breakthrough to protect her identity. When the Titan Giant Ape attacks, she prevents it from killing the Shrek group before it takes her away. 64

After reaching level 31 and obtaining her third soul ring, she returns toward Tang San and walks into Xuan Jian’s trap. The Counterfeit Six Sword Slaves capture her, but Lin Yuan frees her while escaping from Xuan Jian. 67 70

Captivity and Disappearance
