Mu Yun crawled out of his sleeping bag. Though the wind had howled through the cave like wailing ghosts all night, it hadn't disturbed his sleep.
After all, even if a real "ghost" appeared, it would only be a Ghost-type Pokémon.
He was more likely to feel excited than afraid.
After breakfast, Mu Yun packed up his tent and the rest of his gear.
He planned to spend the next five nights here, but he would be out during the day, leaving the cave unguarded. Naturally, he wasn't going to leave his things behind.
Who knew whether a Wild Pokémon might wander by and wreck his tent?
"Let's see where the nearest supply point is."
Mu Yun had plenty of storage space and no shortage of supplies. He was looking for a supply point so he could keep lying in wait.
As the only places where students were allowed to battle each other, supply points were perfect for that. Mu Yun wished there were only one in the entire Outdoor Field Training course.
"Could they have drawn this map any more roughly? Was it deliberate?"
After struggling to make sense of it, Mu Yun muttered a complaint.
Whether the artist couldn't draw or had simply wanted to make things difficult, the map's accuracy was abysmal.
Still, it was barely usable.
"Same as yesterday. Namikaze, keep watch from the air. Bingbing, watch our surroundings. Xiao Du, stay ready to attack the moment I throw your Poké Ball."
Mu Yun gave his orders at the cave entrance.
"Bzz!"
"Bee!"
"Awooo!"
"Meow!"
Xiao Xin had no assignment, but she enthusiastically joined in anyway.
As long as she didn't have to memorize questions, she was up for anything!

Mu Yun recalled Xiao Du and Xiao Xin into their Poké
